James Dale Whitfield

James Dale Whitfield Born February 9, 1934 died at the age of 76 on December 5, 2010 at Kino Hospital in Tucson, AZ. Jim was the beloved husband of Edith Whitfield. Dear Father of Sherry Whitfield, Lorna Powell, Craig Powell and Brent Powell. Grandfather of Jaimee Nevins, Tiffany Whitfield, Elizabeth Whitfield, Brenda Merrell, Tammie Merrell and Andy Merrell. He was a manager for 31 years at IBM and a past Secretary of their Quarter Century Club. He was active since 1968 in the Masons and Eastern Star. He was a Past Master of Charity Lodge F&AM, Campbell, CA and a member of Golden Rule Lodge #60 in Tucson. He was the Past Patron of several Eastern Star Chapters, inc. Horizon #69 in Tucson. Jim was a long time adult leader in several youth organizations including the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls and DeMolay and the Boy Scouts of America. Jim wanted to be remembered for the laughter and love he shared with so many people. Services will be Friday December 17, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Masonic Hall located at 450 N. Pantano Rd., Tucson, AZ. Please no flowers, donations may be made to any Youth organization or charity of your choice. Arrangements by DESERT ROSE CREMATION AND BURIAL.
