Jim was a treasure in our family. His joyful smile, the twinkle in his eyes and his chuckle made my heart happy. He always made the effort to keep the holidays joyful, bringing the kids at Christmas and rarely missing a family event. As kids we got into our share of trouble, but he loved being around despite being surrounded by nothing but girls. He engaged in playing with Barbie dolls if that's what it took to hang out.
