Rowena,

You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I am so very sorry for your loss.

We are better people for having Known and Loved Jimmy. Gary, I and all our children will miss him deeply and will carry on the love he has shown us. Cindie & Gary Gerhardt(Cousin) and family

Jim was my cousin and friend. His smile was my favorite thing about him. When he smiled at you, you could feel genuine love. I believe it was the love of Christ that he carried in his heart and spirit.Years ago I planted a garden in my back yard for he and I to share. Jim didn't get strong enough to work in that garden but I did year after year. The garden is still in my back yard and the vegetables are growing. As i work in the garden i will think of my cousin Jim and his smile, that alone...

Jim and my husband, Jack VanHorn, played ball together at GCHS. Jim visited Jack several times during his fight with cancer in 1998. I will always remember him for that and for his courage during his battle. I am so sorry he lost it. My sympathies to all of you.

Kathy -----Terry and I are so sorry about the loss of your husband. Our sympathies to you and your family.

Kathy and Family ,

Jim was kind and hard working and will be missed by many .
We had a lot of fun when we worked together, and talked a lot of baseball over the last few years.

God Bless all of you !
