I am so saddened to read of his passing. We all went to P-Burg schools together and he was one of my twin brother's best friends beginning in the early elementary years. He had an ever present smile , was always kind to all, and was one of our parents' favorites to hang around our house. Lost contact over the years, but can see his innate kindness touched many more during his lifetime.

To the Williams Family,
“Doc” was a very special person that I have proudly known for over 30 years. When I was young my family and I started going to “Doc” in 1976. Once I married my wife and daughter also used him. When he closed his practice in 2009 I had no clue he was ever ill. I hoped he was going to retire and really enjoy life. To me a visit to the dentists meant getting to visit with a friend. From the moment I would walk into the door until the second it closed “Doc” would be...

Dear Mrs. Williams and Laury, I was a classmate and friend of Jims' at Perrysburg. He was a great, fun but quiet guy. He cared for my mom in his dental practice and my parents and his dad Art and Jim's step mom Thelma were close friends. Jim will be missed by many people. His love for animals shows what a tender heart he had.

I met Doc Williams back in the 70's at a dental clinic that accepted my fathers insurance through the Jeep.. I was a little girl and remember when I first met him... All of the other dentist frightened me.. terribly.. they didn't treat me like a person.. but he was so kind and so gentle.. he was always concerned about ME.. he never wanted to hurt me.. always asking me if I was alright.. I got to know him through the years and he was my dentist for 30plus years.... We always talked and laughed...

Jim Williams! What a tremendous person. We lived on neighboring streets in Perrysburg, Ohio. His caring, mild mannered spirit was shared to many fellow students; I was fortunate enough to be among these. Though I moved out of Ohio and "lost track" of Jim, my mind would recall my friend's drive and kindness. What a special fella!
