I am so saddened to read of his passing. We all went to P-Burg schools together and he was one of my twin brother's best friends beginning in the early elementary years. He had an ever present smile , was always kind to all, and was one of our parents' favorites to hang around our house. Lost contact over the years, but can see his innate kindness touched many more during his lifetime.

To the Williams Family,
“Doc” was a very special person that I have proudly known for over 30 years. When I was young my family and I started going to “Doc” in 1976. Once I married my wife and daughter also used him. When he closed his practice in 2009 I had no clue he was ever ill. I hoped he was going to retire and really enjoy life. To me a visit to the dentists meant getting to visit with a friend. From the moment I would walk into the door until the second it closed “Doc” would be catching up on family or talking of his garden and many animals. My wife would always plan to talk with “Doc” for at least thirty minutes after her appointments just to catch up on what animal he added to his collection. I know of families that couldn’t afford his services yet he still saw their needs were met. If anyone every deserved to live a long and happy life in retirement it would be “Doc” for the way he treated his animals, his patients and his friends. In my mind I want to envision “Doc” taking a nap in a barn, on a bail or two of hay while his dog and cats played.
The world is certainly a better place because of who “Doc” was and what he accomplished in his life. He will be remembered for his smile and his actions.

Dear Mrs. Williams and Laury, I was a classmate and friend of Jims' at Perrysburg. He was a great, fun but quiet guy. He cared for my mom in his dental practice and my parents and his dad Art and Jim's step mom Thelma were close friends. Jim will be missed by many people. His love for animals shows what a tender heart he had.

I met Doc Williams back in the 70's at a dental clinic that accepted my fathers insurance through the Jeep.. I was a little girl and remember when I first met him... All of the other dentist frightened me.. terribly.. they didn't treat me like a person.. but he was so kind and so gentle.. he was always concerned about ME.. he never wanted to hurt me.. always asking me if I was alright.. I got to know him through the years and he was my dentist for 30plus years.... We always talked and laughed when he worked on my teeth.. talking about life.. our animals and family. He gave a little bit of himself to everyone he met... I know that he will be missed.. and hope he finds true peace and happiness. Thank You Doc.. for caring about ME and my family.. God Bless you and your family~~~<3

Jim Williams! What a tremendous person. We lived on neighboring streets in Perrysburg, Ohio. His caring, mild mannered spirit was shared to many fellow students; I was fortunate enough to be among these. Though I moved out of Ohio and "lost track" of Jim, my mind would recall my friend's drive and kindness. What a special fella!

I was saddened to hear that Dr. Williams passed away. He was my first boss right out of high school. I remember him being professional and dedicated to his patients and very patient with me! He even came in on a Saturday to help a family member of mine...just the kind of nice guy that he was. May he enjoy eternal rest and perpetual light.

We met Doctor Williams when my daughter was 4 - she is now 15. It was a shock when he had to close his practice; he was always very nice and would help you out. He will truly be missed.

My Brother, John, and I, remember Jim from playing football, and track at Perrysburg H.S. in the middle '60s. He was always very pleasant, and seemed to be the ideal upper classman. I wished that he would have stayed on the wrestling team! He was so talented, and very modest about his many achievements. I can't believe that his is gone, but he will be always remembered by all who knew him.
I honestly can not imagine how all of his family members must feel at this time. However, we can be rest assured that he will be received warmly by our Creator. He was very good man, and everyone benefitted around him. He is at peace.

To the Williams Family,
It was with shock and sadness to see Dr. Williams passed away. He was our dentist for a number of years. Dr.Williams was so compassionate and caring. My husband was disabled and could not get to his office, so he came to our home. His love for animals
will be remembered.
