Not sure what to say?

Thank you forever Jim for teaching me and several of my friends the fine art of wood carving. We will never forget those happy fun-filled years we spent under your patient tutelage!

Mr. Woodworth,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

My dad
He taught me how to walk and talk
He taught me how to smile
He taught me how to read and write
He taught me how to laugh
He taught me how to fish and camp
He taught me how to love
He taught me the beauty of nature
He taught me to care
I will miss him greatly and I will miss
the many things that he had yet to teach me

Jennifer and Family, I am sorry for your loss. Your family will be in my prayers during this trying time.

Jessica, So sorry to hear of your loss. It is a sad time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of my Uncle Jim. I always looked forward to my visits with him on my trips to Massachusetts. I shall remember him fondly everytime I look at his carvings and re-read all the saved articles that have appeared in the newspapers. My sincere sympathy.

My carvings have taken on more meaning now that my mentor has passed. I will miss his humor, great desserts, and skill.

Jim Woodworth was the only one of his breed ever created. There are no others like him.

You will not find a man of more gentle grace and quiet wisdom. He was a true teacher. He brought new direction to my adult life. I believe each of us who carved birds with him felt he was a hero.
He certainly gave each of us us the feeling that we were the most prized pupil. "You're more than just a pretty face" he would say... as his way of complimenting our carving attempts. I don't...
