Jim was a treasured member of our Ash Lawn Highland family. His leadership contributed greatly to the research and operations. Jim was also a special member of our personal family..a kind and generous godfather to our daughters. My condolences to both Jim and Byrd's families.

I am just heartbroken to hear that my friend had passed away. He was always so kind and lovely to me. It was an honor to have known him. He was brilliant and I fortunate to have learned so much from him working at Ashlawn Highland and in Richmond for him. My prayers go out to you. He will be missed terribly.
