To Jan's Family: I only just learned of Jan's passing and am so very sorry to hear of the loss of such a truly wonderful person. I was fortunate to become one of Jan's high school friends and have the fondest of memories of time spent with Jan on double dates, slumber parties and summertime outings at Jan's pool with her and other friends. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.

As one of Jan's Northeastern teachers. I am so grieved to read of her passing. I have great memories of the Class of 1970. She was smart, generous, kind and funny. I was fortunate to have her in class.
