Not sure what to say?

I was so sorry to hear of the loss of the love of your life. Remembering your great love story today and always.

JC, still miss creating music and jamming with you and your tenor.....

Tommy Lee Brooks

IN January 2009 i began weekly piano lessons with Jan and continued through June. I treasure that hour when he came to the house, not only for what I learned from him, but getting to know him as a friend. I did not realize what was to happen a year later. Im a lucky man to have known Jan.

Dear Sara and family: I knew Jan since I was a child (I am Lynn's cousin "Mitzie" = actually Beverly). As a teenager he was such a dynamic musician and I have never forgotten him. He was always at the family Christmas parties with Joe and parents. I lost touch when I was in my 20's, but was happy to hear he had a great life. We will all see our family again, of that I am sure. Peace be with you. Beverly (Forbus) Stambaugh

Dear Sara and family,
We were so saddened to hear of Jan's passing. He was a wonderful person and a fine musician. He will be missed!
Our heartfelt sorrow for your loss.
Warmest regards,
Kal and Lauri

Jan's family,

Knew "JC" way back in 1965-66 in Wisconsin when he played with The Ventrills.

From what we have read in this guestbook, JC never changed...just got better and better with age.

He was a rare musician of the 60's...kind, considerate, fun, loyal, and not the "usual" band guy.

We will never forget the night we became engaged and he dedicated "For Your Love I Would Do Anything" to us as we danced. He made our night special...a true...

Jan was so warm and positive, it was always a pleasure to see him at various spots around the valley. We will miss himl

WE are going to miss you "Papa Jan." You are my dearest friend,Coco's daddy who was so loved. Thank you for always being so kind and generous to me and my family. May you know you will be miss and are loved so much. With love, Monica Lopez-Horn

With much adoration and love, Jan passed through our lives, bringing joy and happiness to all. Gentle and sweet, he'll forever grace our memories. Jan blessed us with his endearing ways - we bless him as he continues on his way. F. Jane Bush (Palm Desert)
