Jane Alexander

Just found out today from Eileen Reilly of her passing. I worked briefly with her at the Pine St Inn. Though I hadn´t seen her for decades, her empathy, integrity, and drive, were memorable. She left a mark.

I believe Jane was an Extraordinary Human Being. I did not know her, however she touched my family's life in an unforgettable way. Rest Peacefully Jane, and Thank You for Being There.

I'm sure your family will miss her terribly. I knew her as the person who very capably helped one of our members attend Quaker meeting, as well as other help, I'm sure. In Quaker meeting, we recognize how each person's spirit adds to the worship. Jane's spirit contributed much to us and to every place she went. We were blessed.

To Sarah and others ( Mark, etc). Can I bring food to the funeral at 1 pm? Can I help in anyway? Can I help explain the Quaker worship at all? I appreciate so much JAne's strength, empathy towards the disenfranchised and her loving care to Dorothy Crawford. She was at heart a channel of God's care. Fond love, Minga

So sorry to hear of Jane's passing. Jane made a significant impact on those she served. We knew her and the family years ago. Sending sympathy to Sarah and Andy. She was a stunning citizen of the world!

Jane babysat for my brothers and me quite often and was one of my favorites. She is gone too soon.
