Jane Boyce Obituary
Jane Ellen Boyce, 77, of Bethel and Danbury, CT, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at Danbury Hospital after a brief illness.
Jane was born in Norwalk, CT and was a daughter of the late Ralph and Lois (Wilson) Boyce. Jane had retired from Danbury Hospital after 39 years of service.
She was an active member at the Danbury Senior Center and especially enjoyed line dancing to country western music. Jane enjoyed her time spent with Ability Beyond, as their mentoring and friendship meant the world to her. Jane was also involved in the Special Olympics competing in tennis for many years.
Jane was predeceased by her brother, Ralph Boyce, and sisters, Katherine Hodge, Lois Goding and Geraldine Loudon, all of Norwalk, CT.
She is survived by her sister, Patricia Zakhar, of Milford, CT, her beloved twin brother, James Boyce, of Danbury, CT, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A Memorial Service for Jane will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, CT.
Friends will be received from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, CT.

I am so sorry to learn of Jane's passing. I met her when employed at Danbury Hospital. She was the kindest person to me and to the patients. She worked very hard at her position with housekeeping and made sure everything was tidy when she was done. The time frame was 1972-1982. I did see her again in 2014 while visiting my mom. She remembered me and greeted me warmly.
