Not sure what to say?

I am deeply saddened to have learned that my cousin Jane has passed away. She was special as well as brilliant.

This news is very sad. I was saddened to hear the passing of Jane. I have read her book and influenced my practice. Thank you for helping the OT profession grows. Prayers for you and my deep condolences to her family.

Very sad to learn about the passing of an OT legend in pediatrics. Her OT for children textbook encouraged me to work with children for the first 10 years of my career as an OT. The field of OT has lost a great. Rest in peace. You will be missed. Love to her family.

what a sad message to get. Jane's publications have helped me a lot in my professional life. My thoughts go out to her friends and family.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Jane Case-Smith. I did not know she had health challenges. When listening to her at a UW-Madison training, I was in awe of the humility with which she presented her astounding work, her compassion for the children she spoke of, and her general positive spirit. I was so very sorry that she could not live to fulfill everything she wanted to do. I am so sad for the family to have lost such an awesome loved one. Praying for you all.

The very sad news reached the Netherlands. Jane worked with us towards the Amsterdam Paediatric OT conference in 2012 and provided us all with two inspirational presentations. Her work supports paediatric OT's all over the world and will live on through her publications and books. Our deep condolences to family, friends and colleagues.

Sorry to hear of Jane's passing. She wrote my favourite text on pediatric OT. We never met, but I know that she positively influenced many in our profession. God Bless. Heather Hodgins-Chan, OT Reg.(Ont)

Although I had never met her, I looked to her as the authority on pediatric occupational therapy and still, to this day, use as a resource even though I graduated in 1998.

She was an amazing professor. I graduated OT school in 2001. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
