Jane Scott Chapin

Jane Scott (always addressed as "Jane Scott", not "Jane") was my cousin by marriage, the widow of my late second cousin Lucius Chapin. She loved the College of William add Mary (she was class of 1967) and was active in the Richmond alumni society throughout her life. Always a Virginia history enthusiast, particularly with Lucius´ King George County heritage, she told me that she especially enjoyed Dr. Harold Fowler´s history class at W&M. Jane Scott and I were cousin's on the Bigger side of her family. We met at age 12. We could each think up something to get into. The thing Jane Scott enjoyed the most was "Dancing". I am so glad she got to travel- pretty much covered the world. She loved her Family, her friends, her home and most of all" her Lucius". I will miss her!!

I met Jane Scott at the baby pool at Southampton Recreation Center. Since then, we have become close friends. I will really miss her. She was a lovely person. Suzi Hupfer
