Not sure what to say?

I´m often reminded of Jane when we go out to breakfast at a local place. The smallish room is set in an old barn. The farm windows, wood floors farm-house feel bring back memories of the Dickenson family. I wish I´d had more time to get to know Jane. I always appreciated her way of seeing, and getting to the heart of things and people.

Remembering Mrs Dickinson in her home, cooking eggs and bacon for who ever was there and it seemed like many people came to the farm. It was a home of joy filled with singing, art, knitting, humor, food, cats, a dog.

In assisted living when I visited Jane she was as sharp as ever. She made me laugh, and helped me see things more clearly.

I feel lucky and grateful to have known her and the joy she brought to my family.

Shes still my all- time,#1 hero.Ruth Bader Ginsburg is #2and theyre both Cornellians! Xo

I still alwaysremember Jane. She was a wonderful woman. Full of humor , and grace; she had a big heart.. She had RA disease and was at all the RA Support Group Meetings she could attend . I enjoyed her wit and her kindness.

For Amy , Rachel , and Anne , I wish for you the solace and comfort that cherished memories of your Mom bring you , and the reflection of her in the eyes and hearts of your friends and family. It was such a gift to spend some time with you Amy , at the State Diner last week with my Mom and Dad - all of us remembering Jane with love and appreciation - our families Mill Street Pond picnics , barbecues at the Methodist Church , coffee at Toads , my visits with her in Freeville the last few years...
