Jane Kelleher Obituary
Jane Elizabeth Kelleher, a long-time resident of Greenwich, Connecticut passed away peacefully on February 12, 2018 at age 86. Jane was born on April 14, 1931 in Stamford, Connecticut to the late Cornelius and Bertha Wharton.
Jane is an alumna of Emanuel College in Boston, Massachusetts and graduated with the class of 1951. After graduation she began her career teaching in Pelham, New York where she was employed until her retirement. While teaching, Jane also earned two masters degrees from Columbia University. She served as President of the Teacher's Union for four years. She also enjoyed playing bridge at the Innis Arden Country Club in Old Greenwich.
Jane is survived by her son Kevin Kelleher, five grandchildren, John, Jennifer, Jordan, Justin, and Megan, and two great-grandchildren, Eli and Julius. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son John, brother Phil and sister Marcia.
A visitation will be held today, Saturday, February 17, from 3-7 p.m. at Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 31 Arch Street, Greenwich. To share a fond memory or express condolence, please visit leopgallaghergreenwich.com

I was a neighbor of Jane and she supported me to Moe to Nantucket an island she loved. I will always think of her as I spend each day here. Thank you Jane and rest in peace.
