GREENVILLE -- B. Jane Stump age 88, of Greenville passed away at 5:30 am Saturday, January 28, 2023, at Village Green Healthcare Center in Greenville.
Jane was born May 31, 1934, in Darke County to the late Thurman T. & Edith (Fourman) House. Jane was also preceded in death by her brothers-in-law, Bob Lyme and James Stump.
Jane is survived by her husband of 69 years, Clyde E. Stump whom she married May 2, 1953; children, Monty & Krista Stump of Greenville, Mauri Stump of Valparaiso, Indiana, and Marlin Stump & fiancée, Teresa Unthank of Greenville; grandchildren, Cory Stump, Katie & Andy Dwenger, Brian & Stephanie Stump, Dr. Aaron & Dr. Lauren Stump, Coltin Stump, Makensy Stump, Cody Stump, Rachel & Walter Fitschen and Nathan Remencus; great-grandchildren, Paxton Dwenger, Hallie Jane Dwenger, Heidi Stump, Jody Stump, Elliot Stump and Eva Stump; brother & sister-in-law, Lowell T. "Bud" & Janice House of Greenville; sisters, Helen Stump of Ft. Recovery and Janice Lyme & friend, Keith Gower of Greenville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jane was a homemaker and proud farmer's wife. She attended Oakland Church of the Brethren. Jane loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed snowmobiling, motorcycling, gardening, fishing, mushroom hunting and watching sports.
A celebration of Jane's life will be held at 2:30 pm Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Mike Hodson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Township Memorial Garden. The family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Greenville Girls Softball or Greenville Lifewise Academy. Fond memories or expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.zecharbailey.com for the Stump family.

Mr. Stump, Monty/Krista and family members,
