Not sure what to say?

Even though Jane didn't know me well, I looked up to her throughout and beyond our time at GA together. To sing with her in Ireland and around CT was such a blessed experience and I regret now that I didn't tell her the impact she had on me. Between her leadership in small sectionals to delivering speehes on behalf of the group, it was an honor to share those memories and that music with her. I remember she would always volunteer to learn new parts to ensure that our choir had adequate...

I can't believe it's been two years since Jane's passing. I still think of her often, especially when I work with each new cohort of Barnard/Columbia urban education students. Over the years I've listened to Though It Should over 130 times for a total of listening time of more than 12 hours. It's my favorite song of hers. Consumer Culture and Trees combine for about the same. It's nice to still be able to hear Jane's voice through her music even though the lyrics hurt if I dwell on them. I...

Thinking of you, Jane, and missing you. As I watch Columbia go back into session, I remember our time there together. You were a comforting apparition in the midst of the chaos and insecurity of early fall. Always running around with a smile on your face, getting ready for performances and finding all the right exciting classes to take, getting ahead in the library and bringing everyone with you through your work at DDC. Miss you, love you.

I have been streaming Miss Anthropscene since the first releases and just googled to find out more about Jane before discovering this horrible tragedy. She was immensely talented: witty and insightful lyrics, strong melodies, sassy attitude, hypnotic production. She had a brilliant career ahead of her. My heart goes out to her friends and family during this time of unimaginable loss.

Not a day goes by that I do not think of you! You are deeply loved and missed sweet girl! I know you are basking in the eternal light and love of the universe and are free from the earthly pains that plagued you. I l Iove you Janie!

Such a beautiful soul would never be forgotten since her beloved ones will always loved her.

Thank you for bringing such a special person into the world. Jane's imprint on Columbia, and the rest of her world, has been indelible. We miss her every day. I love you, Jane, and I am thinking of you.

Jane was truly one of the kindest people I have ever met in my lifetime. No matter what the social situation, I remember her always reaching out to those around her to make sure everyone felt comfortable and safe. The first time I met Jane, I was convinced I'd met an angel. Her voice is one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard. I will always remember Jane and the impact she had on me and others.
