Not sure what to say?

I met Janet in college where she stood out for having great style, and also being very down to earth. She was creative and artistic in many areas, with great taste. It was always a pleasure to speak with her. she will be missed.

Janet was one of a kind. Fiercely smart, very witty, and a wonderful editor. We played and worked together. I am so sad. Sending love and condolences to her family. May her memory be a blessing.

RIP ... I knew Janet when I worked with her at Manhattan Media. Janet was a lovely charming woman in a sea of sharks. She always had a smile and kind word, and will be missed by many.

Janet was a wonderful friend to all who knew her. I send love and peace to her family of origin and family of friends. How fortunate are we to have had her in our lives.

Janet lived in my building. Rip.

I am so saddened by the loss of Janet. We shared a friendship when we were both Mom's of toddlers and grade school kids on the upper west side and became good friends & spent many hours at the 83rd street playground, birthday parties and more. . I can shut my eyes and transport myself to that playground where we sat and talked about important things while caring for our children happily, at the same time. She was the best mother and fun friend, best face painter at birthday parties, talented...

I was so lucky to work closely with Janet throughout her time at GSG. She taught me so much as a professional and as a person. It's fitting she's a former reporter - she had so many stories, yet was so humble. She approached everyone with kindness, was incredibly funny, and generous with her wisdom, wit, and care. She was beloved by all of us at GSG, and she is missed every day. I'm incredibly grateful for all that she taught me, all the laughs we shared, and all the ways in which she...

Janet was my first manager at work, but she quickly became more than that. She was my biggest advocate and second mom and guided me both personally and professionally. I am incredibly lucky to have known her, and I miss talking to her and seeing her each week. Janet, I'll always work hard to make you proud. You were always the first person I wanted to share good news with, whether that was getting my full-time offer or publishing my first op-ed in the school newspaper. I owe everything I...

Janet was a lovely and graceful skater . We grew up together at the Old York Road Skating Club where we trained 8-10 hours a day. This is a picture of banter and I from the ice´n easy ice show program.
