Not sure what to say?

Eleven years have passed. I came across a card she had sent me when we were in our 30´s. Even with some 40 years since I had received it, I still burst out laughing. Jan, wherever you are, I hope it´s a wonderful place. I love and miss you.

I often think about Jan. Not just on calendar events like a holiday or her birthday, but in regular life. Something happens or something is said and her quick wittedness plays in my head and seriously I will burst out laughing. I miss her as strongly now as I did 9 years ago. I´ll be 70 next month and if there were a way of spending my birthday with her I would forfeit everything else just to hang out with her for an afternoon. There was no one like her.

How lucky we were to have had known you.
Goodbyes are not forever.
Goodbyes are not forever.
They simply mean We will miss you.
Until we meet again.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of your family!

You somehow always had a smile on and a wonderful laugh to go with it! Whether it was crazy here at Pandora's or just in life! You will be missed by so many. All my thoughts and prayer's are with all of you!

You were my "go to" person during life's highs and lows. You had the best answers, the clever come-back and an unstoppable wit. I will miss you tremendously, my dear friend. As Ray Charles sang, "I'll be seeing you".

The people who had the pleasre of knowing you were truy blessed. Its been a long time since I saw you last but the time I spent with you and your family was so very special to me. I will never forget you and the good times we shared. I hope that your final journey is the most remarkable and you will be missed by all whose life you touched.
