Janet Theresa Devine

Janet & John Devine were the loveliest people and close friends with my mom. We spent several holidays together and enjoyed spending time with them. I'm sure the family is saddened by their loss and wish for healing and peace to them.

Losing your parents, even in adulthood, can make one feel like an orphan, but we aren´t really because they are just waiting for us to join them beyond the veil. I met Janet as a fellow parishioner of St. Patrick's in Merced. When I attended my first retreat at St. Clare's Retreat Center in Soquel, Jan was part of the group. I am so sorry to hear of Janet's passing. I worked with her at MCMC from 1974 until retirement. She is now with her one and only love John. They are peacefully in the presence of God. Bless all of you as you mourn your parents.
