Not sure what to say?

Jan and I became such good friends while choreographing and teaching Dance Fitness at the Y, that my younger daughter called her "Jan Mommy". Jan was gracious and lovely, talented in everything she did. I always enjoyed her company, her humor, and her charm. I wish you all peace and know that you have many loving memories of that extraordinary woman.

I have such wonderful memories of Janet from our Lincoln High School days. She was one of my best friends during those days. We will all miss her ever so much. I want to express my sympathy to John and the rest of Janet's family. She will never be left behind in my memory. Bob Moore

So sorry for your loss. She was a great woman. Hope to reconnect with you Jane. I'm here if you need me, Lori (Perino) Fredericksen (650)773-1280.

I'm so sad and shocked to hear this about Jan! She was just a sweet classy lady! I'm thinking about all of you! My thoughts and prayers are with all of you!❤

To the dear family of Jan Jan will be so sadly missed by so many. I attended so many of Jan's classes at the YMCA for many years and also ate our Wednesday get together lunch for over 20 years. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. I am so sorry and sad for her passing. May her soul Rest In Peace. Jeanne and John Kelly.

As one of Janet's NDV classmates, I was saddened to learn of her passing. Seeing her at reunions and talking about the events in our childhoods was always filled with happy memories of our growing up.

My condolences to her family and friends.

We are in shock, as I suppose you all must be. Jan was my dearest friend for many years -- so lovely, loving, gracious and graceful. We send much love to the family, along with most heartfelt condolences.

We received the news of Janet's passing with deep sorrow. Janet ma Cousine d'Amérique , Her grand mother Alice and my grand father Marius were cousins and good friends in 1905 in San Francisco. The Motzer family kept in touch corresponding and visiting France in the 50's. In 1979 Saras and I met Alice Motzer, Janet and the Frye family in San Francisco. We were received by Janet and John with such warmth as though we had known each other for ever. Janet even mentioned she would have loved to...

Dear John, Jenelle and Jane, Barbara and I are so devastated by the passing of Jan. We cry with you and wonder why? Unfortunately, we have been down that path. To us, Jan was a person of sweet character. You picked the perfect picture to express her sweetness. She was the kind of lady you could spend a vacation with and never get tired of her smile or laughter and just want to spend a little more time. Ours days in Mexico together are all the more cherished now. We wish there were...
