I JUST RECEIVED MY ANNUAL CLASSMATE LETTER AND AM STILL IN SHOCK TO READ OF JANET'S
PASSING LAST DECEMBER.
WE GREW UP TOGETHER IN MARTINS CREEK,BEST
OF FRIENDS. SHE WAS NOT IN MY WEDDING PARTY
BUT SHE WAS WITH US THE NIGHT BEFORE AND WITH US THE ENTIRE WEDDING DAY. WE LOST TOUCH BUT RE-CONNECTED AT THE CENTERFIELD CLASS REUNION. THIS IS WHERE I MET YOU.
WE HAD A FEW FOLLOW UP LUNCHEONS IN MT BETHEL WITH MARY JANE AND SHIRLEY. WE REALLY ENJOYED...

I was shocked and saddened to read of Janet's passing. She was my best friend in grade school and recently four of us got together for lunch. She was such a good person and I send my condolences to you and your family. Unfortunately, I was not able to attend her service.

I found out this weekend about Janet's passing. She was a stalwart member at OLHC, devoted to keeping matters organized, accomplished and lively. Her feisty manner was a delight in the rectory; I can only imagine when she was at home. She was devoted to you and that was always evident.
I will remember her in My Masses and prayers over the holidays. Her absence and presence will be felt, and though a paradox, it is likewise a consolation. She's worth the tears; so are you, and well worth...
