Not sure what to say?

I was very honored to be Emmetts nd Janets first caregiver. I looked forward to her and Emmett singing me the good morning song and she would give me this big smile that would make my day! I was so proud to see she had a peace and always happy to please Emmett and
Whoever crossed her path. She desired to do everything and stay active up till the end. Which made me so proud of her. Once in awhile she would say a humorous sentence and make me laugh. My deepest Sympathy to all of the family....

I grew up next door to Janet and Emmett and remember them riding bikes everywhere, often with their tennis gear slung across their shoulders or riding down Curtis Road on their way to work. Their yard with it's little sitting areas and an abundant garden always looked inviting and warm. They worked hard to make it a welcoming, gathering place for their lovely family. Janet was a friendly women who you could tell cared about the things that were important in life. Janet blessed and impacted...

What a competitor! The senior team I played on made it to Nationals in Tucson one year - I remember the trip fondly. In the meantime one could find her at the BSU games cheering for the home team. Boise will miss you.

I loved your mom. Many days of my youth were spent at the Herndons. Sleeping on the trampoline, was always an adventure. I did spend a day with your mom. We both showed up alone, with self made signs. We were protesting the invasion of Iraq, at the corner of Milwaukee. We had a great afternoon talking about families, life and all the fun times.
She was a wonderful lady.
Healing prayers for the family.

She was a great lady, glad I got to spend sometime with her at their lovely cabin in McCall.

My memory is that she always had a smile and a sweet word for everyone she met. An icon in the Boise tennis community, I will sincerely miss her grace.

Many hours of my youth were spent at the Herndon house. Mrs. Herndon (Janet) was always pleasant and accommodating to all of us who visited. Yes, I slept out on the tramp as mentioned in the obituary. We played baseball in the side yard as well. R.I.P. Janet Herndon!

Janet would come into the office at Peasley's often, always a smile with a greeting. It was pleasure being around her. One Special Lady!
