Although it has been years since contact, I am saddened to hear about sweet Janet but also know how true it was that she embraced her ill health well. Janet was full of life, caring, loved to smile and laugh. We met and became fast friends years ago when we worked as social workers at Richmond DSS. I enjoyed my visit once to her farm/home and learning about its interesting history during slavery. Janet was full of life and loved everyone and animals, which showed. Her spirit lives on in our...

Janet was such a kind and sweet person. She helped me through a lot when she was in private practice. I have never forgotten what a wonderful person she is and was.

Janet was such a kind, calm, and hardworking rescuer. I loved visiting her at her family home. Her spirit is free now and reunited with the multitude fur babies who have waited for her with wagging tails and kisses.

Janet took me under her wing as a new freshman at St. Catherine´s. Fond memories of our shenanigans during our high and college years. Sending hugs to Julia and Clair.

Janet was an incisive advisor and had intuitive vision in her help with Medical Care for Children. Her intelligence and kindness will be sorely missed.

I will always have fond memories of our time together at St Catherine´s.

I´m so sorry to hear about Janet. I knew her through AARF Animal Adoption Rescue Fountain and went out to her home several times. She loved her dogs and saved so many of them. Glad bless her soul.
