Such a sweet and loving lady with a smile that lit up a room. Our prayers and thoughts are with the family.

I remember Janet from when we rode the bus to Lodi High from Lockeford/Clements area. She was one of the nicest and prettiest person you could ever meet. Always so positive. Last time I saw her at one of our reunions I asked how she was doing. Her response was "life was good". My sentiments exactly! RIP Janet. She will be missed. Alex Acosta Class of `62

My condolences to the family and friends. Janet was always such a lovely and kind person when I knew her in school. We were in some of the same classes, and I remember her as being a special girl. RIP and prayers to all.

I worked with Janet for many years at Woodrow School and she was kind, careful and so respectful of children, families, and colleagues. Her calm and quiet presence made people feel comfortable and heard. Glad to have known her.

I enjoyed teaching with Janet at Woodrow. We had an especially wonderful trip to France with my sister´s tour. I know her family will miss her calm company. Judy Kropp

Janet was a lovely, kind and Godly friend. We had so many wonderful times together in times past. We loved to take day trips with Modesto Garden Club, especially to the Bouquet to Arts in San Francisco. Often times we got together to just chat and share about family and our gardens. We attended Women of Faith events in Sacramento many times. She aiways had kind words to share. I have and will miss her very much. My sympathy to her family.Sue Houser
