I was so taken by the warmth and generosity given by Janet to anyone who met her. She made all feel loved and comforted just by her smile and attention...she was genuine. We will miss you my friend and think of you often. Janet gave me the nickname "Cougar Jan" as I am a WSU graduate. Her love of the Huskies and mine for the Cougars always sparked a little fun in our meetings...we both enjoyed that.

We had the honor of meeting sweet Janet as she was the mother of our beloved neighbors. She moved in with her daughter and son-in-law so they could help her. That gave us the opportunity to see her occasionally, chat with her from time to time, and share cookies with her once in awhile. We didn´t know her for very long, but we knew her long enough to enjoy her beautiful smile, and to see where here daughter got her generous and kind spirit. We know how much she was loved by her family. ...

I first met Janet in March of 2016 on my first day moving into my apt. I was carrying in an arm full of clothing, and Janet met me at the elevator and offered me the use of her cart. Janet was the most loving, giving friend from that moment on. We had so many moments that were fun, adventuresome, sad, but most of all we had laughs. Oh and I can´t forget all those yummy meals she cooked and shared. It is so rare to find friendship like we had together, and to find it in our senior years...
