I just read the Dec Spire on-line and am shocked and saddened to learn of Jan's passing. I recall Jan's quiet kindness and her devotion to you and your family and your church. I knew Jan through our church the past decade or so and she was one of my favorite people because of her genuinely sweet, kind, quiet and helpful nature. Never a complaint or bad word to say about any one or any thing, just a can-do attitude of "what can I do to be of service?" Even throughout her illness these past months, she still found ways to help others at church and in her community.
