Janet Vroman Obituary
Janet (Evans) Vroman, 88, of Exeter Township, passed away on Monday, September 8, 2025 at The Garden at Stevens. Born in Hamburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry D. and Anna M. (Williams) Evans. Janet graduated from Reading High School, class of 1954. She hailed from Northmont and established lifelong friendships with a number of the girls she grew up with.
She worked as an administrative assistant for many years until her retirement. She spent her free time reading one book after another or doing crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed watching all types of sporting events, especially NASCAR.
Janet supported many charities, but had a special place in her heart for Habitat for Humanity
Janet is survived by her children; David N. Kantner, and Dee Kantner (Sonya Gray). She is also survived by three grandsons and one great-grandson. Janet was preceded in death by her son Darryl Kantner and her daughter Doreen Lynne Stanley.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Janet's memory can be made to Habitat for Humanity at www.habitatberks.org Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., has been entrusted with arrangements. For online condolences, please visit www.LutzFuneralHome.com
