Janice was a natural when it came to working with children. She skillfully implemented the DARE program with my 5th graders and more often than not, when it came to our end of the year ceremony, she surfaced as one of their fondest memories of elementary school. Years later Janice installed a baby car seat when I was expecting my first child. She connected with everyone she met and was so highly respected. Am very saddened to hear of her passing. My thoughts and prayers are with her family...

Janice was a kind and warm person to all. She will forever be remembered by so many for so much. May you continue to laugh as you rest peacefully.

A wonderful, caring, warm person. Janice will always be remembered in our hearts as someone who loved children and was passionate about life. She gave our daughter one of her first books and personally signed it. She also set up Santa letters to be delivered every Christmas with special memories from the year's events included. She is loved and will be missed.
