ANSONIA -- Janice "Jan" Osterloh, age 78, of Ansonia passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at the Village Green Health Campus.
Janice was born February 22, 1947, in Ohio, the daughter of the late Wilbert and Lorena Boeckman. Janice enjoyed completing puzzles, reading, board games and shopping. She loved to volunteer for the Ansonia Athletic Boosters, ran the concession stands at football games and track meets. Janice loved her family, and spending extra time with her grandchildren. Like to be super early to any functions. Janice was an attendee at St Mary's Catholic Church for several years.
Janice is preceded in death by her sister, Marjorie Delaet, her brother, Robert "Bo" Boeckman, as well as her parents. She is also preceded by Ray and Stella Osterloh, Charles Osterloh, George and Lucille Osterloh Schott, Allen Ashley, CJ Locke, Tina Beasley, and Ruth Beasley-Dunn.
Janice is survived by her husband, Roger Osterloh. Janice is also survived by her children Michael (Barbara) Osterloh and Kevin Osterloh. She is survived by her siblings; Diane (Robert) Christian, Karen Ashley, Susan Boeckman, Marvin (Diane) Boeckman, John and Martha Boeckman, Don and Linda Boeckman. Janice leaves behind her grandchildren, Lexie Osterloh and Mason Osterloh. She is also survived by her in-laws Herb Osterloh, Janet Fry, Bob Delaet, and Gertrude Locke. Janice is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of Janice's life will be held Thursday, September 18, 2025 at 11:00AM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville, Ohio with Deacon Tom Graber officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:00AM until 11:00AM on Thursday at the funeral home. A burial will follow the service at Greenville Township Memorial Gardens. Memorial Contributions may be made to Ansonia Rescue and Everheart Hospice.
