We were saddened to learn of Jan's sudden death. We were cousins and because of living far apart we didn't see each other often. However, we kept in touch. Joe and Family,
I was so very sorry to hear about Jan's (Mrs. Verbeek) passing. Not only was I blessed with having her as a teacher, but also as a constant presence in my church family while growing up in Gretna. My prayers are with all of you and the memories of Jan will always be fond and happy.
