Not sure what to say?

Loren, Leah and Family,
I was so sorry to learn of Janis' death. We had such a good visit with all the EHS girls last summer when I was home. When I think of Janis, I always picture the little girl with the big bow in her hair in our kindergarten picture. I have read all the other entries in this special guest book and you should always be so proud of the testimonies others have given for her life. What a special person and friend she was. We will all miss her.

Loren & Leah,

Our sympathy goes to you in this trying time. I am so thankful to have renewed the friendship with your mother over the past few years with our gathering of the East Atlanta High School girls from the class of l965. I am so thrilled that she was able to join us in January at my house. She brought us to laughter many times with her stories. Many thanks go to Carolyn Harris for bringing Janis to us. We will miss her, but know she is in better hands now.

I hope...

Dear Leah and Loren -
My heart has been heavy ever since hearing about your mom. She was like a second mom to me for many years. I have so many wonderful memories of her. She was always so loving, caring and giving of herself. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Loren and Leah,
Our thoughts are with you and our hearts are heavy for you. I pray you will sense the loving arms of our Savior wrapped around you as He has promised to be "close to the brokenhearted" Ps.34:18. We rejoice for your mom and the magnificient celebration she is having, face to face with Jesus Christ!! She was truly a conduit of God's love in my childhood. Even in the midst of her own challenges, she never failed to express joy, kindness, thoughtfulness and love to...

Loren and Leah,
My heart is heavy this morning upon learning of your mother's death. She has been a dear friend of mine for over 30 years (Loren, you were just a baby when we became neighbors in Tucker). She was a loving mom, talented, beautiful, and most of all, loved God. What a sweet spirit she had. I last spoke with her about 6 weeks ago, and I will always treasure that conversation. I pray for God's loving arms to wrap around both of you girls and her grandchildren and give you...

Leah, Loren, Bobby ( and family) -

Janis was/ and is one of those angels from above ,with a kind heart and a fantastic sense of humor. ( whenever it was needed.) I believe she is up on heaven watching down on all of us, and not in pain anymore. She will definetely be missed, and never be forgotten. Thinking of you guys.

"For the righteous man is taken away from calamity; he enters into peace; they rest in their beds who walk in their uprightness." Is. 57:1b-2
Dear Bobby, Loren and Leah, Caroline and Will,
Your mom (and grandma) was an instrument of God's encouragement in Mike's and my life. Never complaining, always praising, she shines as a light in this dark world (Ph. 2:14-18). I am filled with joy in knowing that she is now with her Savior, able to praise Him without any sickness or disability. ...

Ken, My Mom called me today when she saw the obituary about Janis. I wanted to expres my sympathy to you and Sandy and Janis' children and grandchildren. I remember Janis fondly as a childhood friend. "The Fayetteville Rd" Clan.

Loren and Leah,

I just wanted to express to you our sympathies. Your mother was a truly wonderful person. I have very fond memories of her and you both from our years in the "Forest". I pray God's comfort on you and your renewed hope in the "resurrection of the body" which your mom is enjoying to the fullest now!
