Jared C. Dickert

Jared was indeed fortunate to have been surrounded by people who loved and respected him. The beautifully written obituary is a testament to those feelings. Jared and my son, Ben, were fast friends in their early school years. One of my most special memories is catching sight of them, arm in arm, at a school party in preschool. Two curious little boys, looking for adventure. Whenever I think of Jared, this image of him with Ben is right there. He will be missed.

Jared was a true friend of mine when we were kids. His enthusiasm for games and music was infectious. Godspeed my friend.
