Oh, how my heart aches for all of you who are fortunate enough to know Jared. Jared's absence and memory will be felt forever in heart and mind and our lives will never be the same. He is a charming young man who truly enjoyed all of his family and every friend. We have all been blessed by his smile, laughter, silliness, fun times and so much more. He too was richly blessed by those he loves and cares for and those who love and care for him.

James, what an incredible father you...

Christie and family - I'm so sorry for your loss. My Dad has mentioned Jared several times and it sounds like he was such a wonderful young man that will be missed by many people. I know words can't ease your pain right now but please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope the memories you have of Jared bring you comfort during this difficult time.

Leo and Jane,
I'm sorry for your loss. How tragic to lose someone so young. Our prayers are with you and the family.

Christie,
I am soo sorry and it was a pleasure having you and Jared at family events, even though you weren't family. I will miss Jared tremendously as will the rest of the Ashcraft family. Just know that our Jason Paul is up there watching over him. We love you and are keeping you in our prayers.

Family of Jared:
We want to express our deepest sympathy to you. We know exactly what you are going through as we lost a daughter at the age of 8. Please know that you are in our deepest thoughts and prayers. Just remember, that Jared is in a better please with Jesus and looking down on us telling us to be happy. It is the hardest thing in the world to loose a child. Please know we are here for you if you need anything. Your friends in Christ!

Dear JT and family,

with love,

Christie,
Jared was certainly a favorite of everyone at the Edgemoor Rec Center. He made the kids around him better with his positive attitude.
Jon Sidwell asked me once: "out of all the kids who have ever come to Edgemoor for our summer camps, who would you want your own son to grow up to be like?". Without a beat I answered "Jared".
My own son is 11 years old now and I am happy to say that he to loves to smile, act like a ham, and most importantly is kind to everyone he meets....

Dear James and Chris and families,
Our hearts go out to you at this difficult time. From the moment he was born, to the time when he was tragically taken from this life, Jared did nothing but spread joy to others. His musical talents and enthusiasm for life will be the memories that we will always hold on to. Our boys looked up to their older cousin as someone to emulate; as Dawson put it, "He was the coolest person at Grandma Jane's". Our thoughts and prayers are with you both now and for...
