Oh, how my heart aches for all of you who are fortunate enough to know Jared. Jared's absence and memory will be felt forever in heart and mind and our lives will never be the same. He is a charming young man who truly enjoyed all of his family and every friend. We have all been blessed by his smile, laughter, silliness, fun times and so much more. He too was richly blessed by those he loves and cares for and those who love and care for him.
James, what an incredible father you are! You always gave your all to show Jared your love for him and the time you shared supporting Jared's activities, sports, his wants & desires meant the world to him. What a lucky boy to have a genuine good man to look up to and call Dad.
Treasa, what a beautiful mother and friend! Jared truly enjoyed all of your thoughtfullness, kindness, laughter and love. What a blessing you are to all of your children. Your constant concern and support for their happiness and well being completely enriches their lives. All that you do to show your family that you care is amazing, admirable & appreciated by them and Jared.
Winter, Clay & TressAnn, Jared is blessed to have such wonderful caring and sharing brother and sisters. You genuinely enjoyed being a part of each others lives. Jared is a proud Uncle too!
In his short time here, he gave love, he knew love and he was loved. Just remember while you are missing him...he is missing you too!
May God wrap all of you in his loving embrace and hold your hearts in good care now and always.
With thoughts and prayers, love you all!

Christie,
Jared was certainly a favorite of everyone at the Edgemoor Rec Center. He made the kids around him better with his positive attitude.
Jon Sidwell asked me once: "out of all the kids who have ever come to Edgemoor for our summer camps, who would you want your own son to grow up to be like?". Without a beat I answered "Jared".
My own son is 11 years old now and I am happy to say that he to loves to smile, act like a ham, and most importantly is kind to everyone he meets. Thank you for bringing him into my life and he will live on in all of our memories.

Dear James and Chris and families,
Our hearts go out to you at this difficult time. From the moment he was born, to the time when he was tragically taken from this life, Jared did nothing but spread joy to others. His musical talents and enthusiasm for life will be the memories that we will always hold on to. Our boys looked up to their older cousin as someone to emulate; as Dawson put it, "He was the coolest person at Grandma Jane's". Our thoughts and prayers are with you both now and for the days ahead.

James and Treasa,
There are many things on this earth that happen that we will not know about until we reach heaven. But we do know that Jared loved
God and God loves him so very dearly. He will always be a bright shining star just on the horizon waiting for us to join him someday in glory. As our days continue onward and we stop to remember him, we will ask God to help us to be as loving and good to all people as Jared was.
A true son, brother, cousin, uncle, grandson and friend. He will always be in our thoughts and prayers. We love you and treasure our time on this earth with you.
God Bless you and keep you in his care always,
Bob, Gay and Jamie

Brannan and Martin Family,
What a joy it has been to be Jared's band teacher for the last seven years! From an excited 5th grader trying to get a sound out of the trombone to 1st chair in the AHS band. I looked forward to all that Jared would bring to my class each day; from being a KU fan, to helping me "pick" the just the right songs for "next time". It has been an honor knowing and teaching Jared. You all are in my prayers daily. May God bless you and keep you. May His face shine down upon you, and give you peace.

James & Chris,
We are all deeply saden by the loss of this wonderful boy, he was the perfect nephew and cousin. Tyler, Brooke and Brett looked up to him so very much. They talked about him all the time, what a perfect role model. He will be missed so so much. He had many special gifts one was singing and playing his guitar, he did this on several visits to our house. He had a beautiful smile that could light up a room, and he always had a hug for you. I hope you find strength in the Lord and in family to make it through this difficult time. We all Love you.

I remember the bright cheerful student in my class that was always in good humor and ready for a laugh. The day we attended a class together at Northwest Christian and the pastor asked if it was weird to see your teacher in class with you and behind a sheepish grin you said, “Yeah.” I still see the grinning boy. I am so thankful you continued to follow the Lord. As a Christian, I understand the truth of going home to the Lord, as a teacher and friend, I just hurt. Jared you will be missed.
