Chavis, the world will not be the same without you. You were a fellow soldier and a brother to all in whom you came close too. You always made me smile bro no matter the situation. Forever missed but never forgotten

I had the honor of serving with Sgt Chavis from 2006 to 2008. He was an unforgetable person. Chavis you are gone but not forgotton may St. Peter meet you at the pearly gate. You will be missed. "OUTLAWS. NO SLACK"!!

I had the honor of serving with Sgt Chavis from 07-08. He will be greatly missed and I am truly honored to have served with him. My heartfelt prayers go to his family. Thank you brother for all you have done.

Chavis was one of my soldier in 416th, he was explosive, a hard worker, a good friend and a better person. It was a honor and a privilidge working with him. RIP Chavis, you will always be remember. My condolences to his family!!

Both My Husband and I also had the great privilege of serving with this extraordinary individual... He will be greatly missed! I too was in his platoon and had the chance to mentor him as a younger soldier. Our thoughts and prayers are going out to the entire family.

I had the honor and privilidge to work and know SGT Chavis. My prayers go out to his wife, daughter and family. He is lost but not forgotten.

I served with SGT Chavis in 2006-2008 in 416th and in Iraq from 2007-2008. He was a great soldier and person. He will truly be mised be all.

May you rest well now, you will be greatly missed. I had the honor to know you and serve next to you. Chavis family my heart goes out to you and i pray that god is at your side in this time of need. RIP Chavis
