Thinking of you today. Anytime I drove to Avila, I'd think about you. One night I wanted to talk to you after a stressful night at school, but got lost trying to find your spot. I wish I could've gotten to know you better. Each memory I have of you is a good one and you always made me laugh. This is just me saying you are still missed. Rest easy.

Almost 3 years without you. I often wonder where we would be if you were here today. Our world would be a much better place. I compare new friends to you as if you were the 1 that got away and as more friends come into my life, it becomes more evident that you are. No one can compare to you and our friendship. Dearest Candy, I just learned of Jason's death. I am so sad for you. I sent you a Late Christmas letter and got it back...so I went on line. I tried Facebook, white pages to see if I could find an address. No luck so I thought I'd try to locate Jason and find you that way. That is when his obituary came up. I will keep you in my prayers. I had Alex here for a week. He misses you and he put some flowers on your grave site. He's so much like you in looks and actions. I wish you had been here.

Candy, my deepest sympathies and thoughts are with you. I have nothing but the best memories when I think back to the times I shared with Jason - riding our bikes around the neighborhood until dark, playing basketball on Landmark ct. for hours on end, listening to music a few notches too loud, watching terrible movies until tears of laughter streamed down our faces. And throughout those great times, I'll never forget how warm and welcoming you and Lionel were to me, and all of Jason's friends, always making us feel at home. My son was in the 2nd grade last year and even though he was not in Jason's class, my son loved him to death! This week I know was hard for all the staff and students returning back to school without him there. My condolences are with his family and all the lives he has affected. Rest in Peace

John and I were so shocked and saddened to hear from Brad about Jason's passing. We have such fond memories of the two boys at Pioneer High School - so many laughs and pranks. We still enjoy looking at pictures of the two boys with their cars. You were always our very favorite friend of Brad's. Your family truly has our heartfelt sympathy.

I'll always look back at my high school years as some of the best times of my life, and you were a big part of so many of those memories. I will always remember you as someone who was always there for his family and friends, someone who always had a positive outlook on life, and someone who could always bring humor to any situation. I will never forget your laugh, and there's not a week that goes by where I don't think of a funny saying or inside joke we shared. I'm so glad we had the chance to reconnect a couple summers ago, it felt like we picked up right where we left off years ago. My son had had Mr. Crabtree for 2nd grade his first year of teaching. My son was so excited to go to school everyday knowing that he would be able to talk sports with him. They listened to sports radio every morning in the classroom. My son is very shy and Mr. Crabtree had him talking on the first day! He was very caring and offered to come watch my son play baseball. He was a inspiration to young boys and my son will miss him dearly. RIP!

I was Jason's mentor and from day 1 I knew he would fit in perfectly in our 2nd grade team and school.
I will always miss your quirky jokes, pranks and laughter before school and during lunch.
I will really miss hanging out with you during the summer at our second home, Jim Bob's Belly Up! What am I going to do without you there to keep "mark" away from me :)

I had the opportunity to teach art to Mr. Crabtree's classes for two years. The students absolutely loved him. I enjoyed teaching his classes, because they were always awesome!! He was one of a kind, and will be missed by many. My condolences to his family.

We are honored that we had the privilege to know Mr. Crabtree. He taught my daughter this year and she had nothing but the best things to say about him. Everyday she came home with a new story or joke he would tell them. Mr. Crabtree was the coolest. She made him bf bracelets cause he was the best teacher in the world. He was a kindhearted and loving person. His students were very important to him and did whatever he could to help them succeed. My daughter will always love him and will always cherish the memories she had with him. I tell her he lives in your heart and his spirit will always be with you. Our deepest condolences to his famiy. Mr. Crabtrees first year teaching my daughter was in his class. She came home everyday with a smile. My son was in his class the following year. My daughter is in 2nd grade at Gracemor and she loves Mr. Crabtree. He worked the car rider line in the afternoons and was always friendly and kind when I talked to him. A male lower elementary teacher is hard to find these days and Mr. Crabtree was one of the best. All the students were blessed to know him. He will be terribly missed. My heart breaks for his family, friends and everyone involved. My heart is especially breaking tonight for Gracemor and his students who will return tomorrow with a new teacher. There will be such sadness and so many tears. Even all of the parents who only saw him in the car rider line will miss seeing him. Our family is praying for everyone involved and praying that his family and loved ones especially will feel the peace that only Jesus can give.

I was around jason all the time last year as my son was in his class and I helped him around the class every morning for a couple hours. He was an amazing teacher and friend. My son cried on the last day of school cause he was gonna miss his teacher so much. But when he came back this year he went and saw jason every morning. Rest in peace jason.
