I miss talking with him whether he is in dispatch working as a sub or planning or tracking loads for Arnold Transportation, I am a driver he looked after, He would listen and work something out, a magnificent human being, a bright and cheerful confidant, there has not been a day where I have not thought of him, he will be with me in my travels coast to coast, we all lost a unique and special person,,,my sincerest condolences to his family...

Dear Don & Family,
Im so sorry for your loss. Words cannot express my sympathy for you and all Family members. Tom Northcutt(Pep Boys)a friend and neighbor told me of the devistating accident that claimed your sons life. A year and a half ago our only child,Matthew Godwin Jr. suffered the same fate when a young girl pulled out in front of him on SR 44,DeLand.His helmet also popped off his head and ten and a half days later he died from the massive trauma. We will never be the same.
If you ever want to make contact please do so. Again, I am truly sorry. Thinking of you,Donna Godwin

I will always remember how good Jason was with my little Brandon. He always wanted to go to the Pat Boys house to play with Jason. He was such a neat kid. There are no words that can express my sorrow for your loss.
