Not sure what to say?

Jay, may you rest in peace with blue sky and waters. Thank you for all of the support you have given me over the years and encouraged me to keep sailing.

Your friend,

Shellie Irwin

Many thanks to Jay for his generous support of community organizations. I am glad we were able to reconnect a couple of years ago since Blake in the 1940s. I will miss him. My deepest condolences to his family.

My mom speaks so highly about the people she works for and Jay was no exception. I feel like I know him even though we've never met. My sympathy to your family. Rita Kelly, daughter of Marlette

The local windsurfing crew want to acknoweldge the graciousness and kindness shown by Jay for the many times he hosted us to Southeast breezes on his North shore. Thank you. Charles Leekley

I am so sorry to hear of Jay's passing. I knew Jay for about 30 years and always enjoyed visiting with him when he was back in Minnesota. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this most difficult time.

Hugs and prayers,

Helayne Bruntjen

There is a Jay shaped hole in my heart. When I lost my only child, Tony, two and a half years ago, Jay helped me through my darkest hour with loving emotional support. Now he too is gone. Perhaps Tony was there to help welcome Jay into heaven where I hope to see both of them again someday.

Jay was a friend of mine going back to his investment business days and more recently working with him on his generosity to the Minnesota Orchestra and the Minneapolis Institute of Arts.

We are in Florida but wish to express our deepest sympathy.

Earl S Sanford and Barbara Flanagan Sanford.

Jay was an old and very good friend. Our thoughts go out to his family. He will be missed.
Barb & Jim Rogers

We remember Jay with fondness and will think of you during this time.
