Jean M. Crouch
Penacook, NH - Jean M. Crouch, age 70, of Borough Road passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Elliot Hospital in Manchester.
Jean dedicated her life to helping others, a champion for countless causes, her contributions were vast, particularly in advocating for the aging and disability communities. The final chapter of her career was spent at the NH DHHS, where she made a lasting impact retiring in January 2025. Throughout her life, Jean set a remarkable example of hard work, determination, and resilience. She balanced a demanding career while raising a family, all while pursuing her Master's Degree.
Jean's greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren, who brought immeasurable pride and happiness to her life. While she rarely watched an entire movie from beginning to end, she often had a Lifetime movie playing on her TV, a small but meaningful part of her daily routine. Jean's legacy of compassion, dedication, and love will be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
She is survived by her 2 daughters, Maryellen Fish and her husband Dan of Chichester and Nicole Crouch of Weare; 5 grandchildren, Aliya, Daven and Myra Fish, and Cooper and Sophia Porter; her brother, Edward Willard of Costa Rica; her sister, Cathy McGoldrick of Florida; several nieces and nephews and extended family. She was predeceased by her parents, Francis and Mary Frances (Hemingway) Willard, her sister, Joellen Leonard, and her former husband, Tommy Crouch.
Visiting Hours will not be held.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 11th at 2 PM in the Chapel of the Waters Funeral Home, 50 South Main Street, Concord.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to Granite State Independent Living @ https://gsil.org/donate/

Jean, I have so many fun memories growing up, when you weren´t whisked off to Germany or Panama. You were kind, funny, loving and caring. You were challenged a lot in your life, more than some could bear, but you carried through with a smile and laugh. I hope you´re having a beer with your Dad and mine(Uncle Buddy). Rest in peace cousin. Love you Thoughts and prayers to Maryellen, Nicky and their families Beth Willard Enos Marden
