Jean Gulisano Obituary

Jean Gulisano, 100, of Boca Raton, Florida passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2022. Jean was born November 16, 1921, in Wilkes Barre, PA, the daughter of the late Egidio and Vincenza Tornatore. Jean moved to Manhattan with her family at an early age. She married Joseph Rosario Gulisano on February 21, 1942 and moved to Queens NY, where she raised her family and worked in the sewing industry and Alexander's Department store. In 1983 Jean and Joseph moved to Boca Raton, FL. She volunteered at Boca Raton Community Church "Bibletown" and St Joan of Arc Catholic church watching the children in the nursery. Jean is survived by her four children; Frank Gulisano (Carole), Maria Gulisano, Egidio "Gid" Gulisano (Serena), and Vincent Gulisano (Anne), also surviving is her sister Maria Pollin, 13 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren. Her husband Joseph, and two brothers; Anthony and Carmine preceded her in death. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 17, 2022 from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM at Babione - Kraeer Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 1100 North Federal Highway, Boca Raton, FL 33432. A Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 370 SW 3rd St, Boca Raton, FL 33432. Entombment to immediately follow at Boca Raton Mausoleum, 451 SW 4th Ave, Boca Raton, FL 33432
