Not sure what to say?

Brad, Kristen and Families, I send my condolences to you all for the passing of Chick. We (Ronnie, Nene, Terrie, Vickie and myself Cindie Webb) lived next door to you on McDonald Way. I have fond memories of our family going to your house on Sunday nights and watching Flipper....? or Disney..? Chick made all of our Barbie clothes and I actually still have them. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Love Cindie WebbSawyer

I am very sorry to hear about the loss of Chic. I have fond memories of planning my honeymoon with her ( and my then fiancé). She was such a kind and fun person to be around. She made planning the Honeymoon even more special . Prayers to the family

I met Chic through my almost lifetime friendship with her son Brad. She was the consummate wife, mother, grandmother, and grandmother. Bakersfield strong. She always knew how to tease me and I took it in the spirit it was given. What a rich and wonderful life she lived. Now she is with Gary for eternity.

Chic and I became acquainted through our daughters, Robin and Kristen. Later in life, we worked together in the Cotton Patch Quilt Guild.....my memories of her are all cheerful and filled with energy. May God comfort the family with many beautiful similar memories.

I met Chic about 20 years ago through my wife, and Bakersfield native, Dianne Krausse who is a lifelong friend of Kristen (Cloud) Hamilton. My wife was so excited to introduce me to their family, and as the day to meet them approached, she would say to me "Oh, your gonna love meeting "Chicken Gary". Being the loving boyfriend (soon to be fiance) I would smile and show exciting enthusiasm! Finally I got to meet Gary and his wife Chic and was amazed and enamored at this loving couple. ...

We love Aunt Chic and all your family. We emphasize and grieve along side you as we all walk this road together. We look forward to seeing you all when we met again on the other side and join our mothers and fathers and grandparents who have gone on before us. Sorry we can't be there physically to embrace you but know we are there for you in love and spirit. Love Shelly, Kristy, Keith and David

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your family today and always. \,,|/ Shirley & Jerome Raile

Chic has always been, and will always be... my hero.

Chic was so full of energy and joy. I will miss her stories and smiles. Her friend Ann Mayer
