Jeanne was such a bright light in the world. I don't have the words to express how much your love and friendship meant to me throughout my life. From the time I was a very young boy she always made me feel valued and loved. Eternally grateful.

Jeanne was one of my mother's best friends and she was the first adult I felt was my friend too. Her heart was so large and your kindness was boundless. Each time I came home to Kansas City I would make sure I made time to visit her, not because I felt I needed to but because I always felt more alive after spending time with her. When she moved into her assisted living home she was so happy and content. That was how she handled the world and the many challenges she faced and helped countless people face. When I would go to St. James to attend Fr. Rotert's service I knew I could always count on seeing her there for her faithful attendance. She was such an enormous role model for me on how to live life and to find joy in all things. I'm so grateful for the time that I had with her and the positive energy she brought into the world. Rest in peace Jeanne. Love always.

Mary Knoebel, with whom Jeanne was a dear friend, introduced Jeanne to me back in the 70s. I was a guest at her lake house. She also volunteered at Holy Family House and was on the Monday morning breakfast crew, making and serving toast to our many guests. I visited her regularly at her last apartment and then at the nursing home. Jeanne was a dear friend and will be missed.
