Not sure what to say?

I'm not sure why almost 20 years later I thought about Jeff. He and I worked at Burdines together and on Christmas we would spend the day with kids in detention. We would take them to parrot jungle have lunch, give them gifts. Every one of them were young gentlemen and at the time our hearts were so full. After many years I reconnected with Jeff and we shared fabulous memories. For some reason today I thought of him and I'm thinking of him and his generous heart he is so missed.

Dear Kristen and Comment family-

I am so saddened to hear of your news. I was lucky enough to meet your Dad just that once at Geoffry's when your parents were in town for your graduation from BU. I remember him from just that brief meeting as being a positive force--one that people could only be drawn to. I know how much you love him and I remember so many stories that you told me about him and how proud of him you are. I really can't imagine what you are going through. You all...

It was like losing a family member. My heart sank when I heard of his passing. I can't adequately describe the feeling.

Jeff was an unusual person--a person of great energy and drive--passionate about whatever he persued--driven to be involved in every community he lived in--a person who always made a difference.

He was a great producer in business--a financial man with marketing genius. Yet, he was a humble-committed Christian who came into my life over thirty...

Marth, Kristin and Ryan,
Thank you, Martha, for letting me know last night about Jeff. Many years we have known each other. A lthough living apart for most of that time, it was always exciting to see Jeff and his family move up in this world, but keeping his Savior first in his life. I will never forget you had prayed for a Christian neighbor in Miami where I was blessed to begin our relationship with each other and our girls. I have been so proud of you all and what you have...

Dear Martha, Kristen & Ryan:
I knew Jeff best through my husband. Trent helped with the technical details many of the times Jeff spoke at Heartland Community Church. Jeff might say he wanted a song with this or that thought in it for his message; one suggestion from someone he trusted and the decision was made as far as Jeff was concerned! His belief in others' abilities often surpassed their belief in themselves.

I also work in Heartland's front office. The number of...

My wife Patricia and I were blessed early in our years here in Miami, which was early in my walk as a Christian, by knowing and then loving Martha and Jeff.

These two dear people have been role models, as they were for us then, of how Christians should walk humbly with the Lord.

Jeff always had that twinkle in his eye that let you know he was glad to be on this planet and totally in love with Jesus while here.

We lost touch with Jeff and Martha,...

Dear Martha, I am so sorry for your loss. I have been with Helzberg Diamonds for 8 years and have been inspired by Jeff in so many ways. He has touched many lives both professionally and spiritually and I will never forget him. He will be sadly missed by all. My prayers are with you and your family.

I worked 5 years for Helzberg and Mr. Comment at Towne West, Wichita Kansas.Thank you Jeff for being a great guy and leader. You made the difference.

Recently I met Mr. Comment at the animal hospital where I work. He had found a puppy that had been hit by a car. He asked us to examine and treat the pup. He covered all the cost and asked us to find a home for him. We found a wonderful home for the puppy and Mr. Comment came to visit the pup a few times as he was recouperating. Now I see he was such a wonderful man to all beings!! What a loss for the world.
