Not sure what to say?

I don't know what Jeff was like in his other roles, but as an uncle, I think I can say on behalf of all of my brothers that he was outstanding. When we were kids, he'd show up for Thanksgiving dinner in a new and invariably cool sports car every year, or so it seemed, and let us climb inside to check out the interior details. He'd bring a huge tray of shrimp for everyone to enjoy during the long, pre-turkey afternoon of snacking that followed the Prep football game. In more recent decades,...

Jeff was a true gentleman with a gentle soul. I always appreciated his courtesies and common touch the many times I appeared before him at the DMV. And I greatly appreciated his courage during his battle with cancer. I had a simple hearing with him not too long ago and we had some time to talk while waiting for it to start. Never a complaint from him. My condolences to his family.

I had the great pleasure working for Jeff. What a great man! He will be missed.

My condolences to Jeff's family. My thoughts and prayers are with you. When I saw Jeff at Prep 50th reunion in June, he was still full of the spirit and warmth I remember from his Prep days. He was a great guy.

it was a pleasure and an honor to know Jeff i will always remember his caring warm ways

To the Donahue Family,

I am sorry to hear about the loss of Jeff. I was fortunate to have known him through his brother Terry as we played golf together on many occasions.

Jeff was a great individual to know and associate with and his passing will leave a void.

Heartfelt condolences to Terry and Mary and the Donahue family on the loss of Jeff. I'm glad he was able to get to our Prep '57 50th reunion in June.He was a wonderful person and I'm sure he will be missed greatly He and you will be in our prayers.

Terribly sorry to hear of Jeff's passing. I played football with Jeff and Terry @ Fairfield Prep where we won the State Championship. Jeff was a terrific player and great competitor and a fine Irishman. I will keep him and all of his family in my prayers.

I am grateful I had the chance to know & work with Jeff. He was loved by many at DMV and we will never let his memory die...we will remeber him with many fond meomories and will always laugh when we think of him practicing his "whole in one" on our "rug".
My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
