Not sure what to say?

Jeff was an elementary school classmate and friend for a few years in Massapequa. My family moved and we were never in touch again, despite my occasional efforts later on to locate him. Others have mentioned Jeff's sense of humor. Upon elementary school graduation, we all wrote notes and signed each other's autograph books -- usually things like "remember me always" or "good luck in high school." In mine, Jeff wrote "wash your hands and wash your face, here comes the nurse and there's mud on...

Jeff has been a good friend since the early 80s, and an occasional adversary since 2010. He called me 'corporate' whenever we chatted. I had the honor of staying with Jeffrey and Peggy in their home just weeks before he passed. The comfort and gratitude each felt for the other was striking and made me feel blessed to be in their presence. I loved Jeffrey's dry sense of humor and the way he took such good care of Peggy, showering her with care, co-parenting their combined families, and taking in everything with a half smile that let you know there was a lot more going on in his head than he ever said. I will miss the...

My deepest symphathy to Peggy and the family. So very sorry.
