Im so saddened to hear of Jeffs passing - my sincerest condolences to his family. I only knew him for a short while but always enjoyed talking to him, from the first time meeting Jeff, I knew he was a good man; always so patient and positive. Jeff is truly a good soul and will me missed.

The man known as Jeffery Karstens will be sorrofully missed. The ANGEL of the same name will never be forgotten. I hope that I will be able to embrace his being & pay forward his essence & love. Albeit too short, the sharing of himself with my daughter, I am soo appreciative of his life & being. I have NO doubt that a man of his caliber will be there, watching over us all. Till we meet again. Thank you & thank all whom had a hand in creating such a man. Not good-bye, butt see you later. Love...

I had the pleasure of sitting near Jeff (usually in the seat in front of him) for many years on the long school bus ride to and from school. You really get to know someone that way and I will always have fond memories growing up with Jeff as a friend and neighbor. My condolences during this very tough time.

My heart breaks for the whole Karstens Family. Jeff was such a vital person who impacted my kids as a Young Life leader and later as a personal friend to Matt. Love and peace to you all... ❤

Dave, Nancy, Leah and family
We will remember Jeff's laughter and great personality. Our prayers, condolences and deep-felt sorrow.

Dave & Nancy, I am so sorry to hear about your son. My prayers and thoughts are with you all.

I had the pleasure of being Jeff's 6th grade social studies teacher at East Tipp. Jeff was highly respected by his fellow students and teachers.
