Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Lay, I graduated with your husband, class of 1972 and also, my first encounter with Jeff was when we were in the 4th grade together. Your husband stood out in class as one of the most intelligent ones. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. My heart goes out to you and yours during this time.

Dear Deloris,
Words fall short of expressing my sorrow. In the past, when I began to “venture away” I can recall how you and Jeff were there for me regardless of the day or hour. Please know that I will be here for you.

My heart goes out to you and the Lay family during this difficult time. Through prayer, I am confident that Jehovah will provide you all with the strength and love that is much needed.
