Mrs. Lay, I graduated with your husband, class of 1972 and also, my first encounter with Jeff was when we were in the 4th grade together. Your husband stood out in class as one of the most intelligent ones. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. My heart goes out to you and yours during this time.

Dear Deloris,
Words fall short of expressing my sorrow. In the past, when I began to “venture away” I can recall how you and Jeff were there for me regardless of the day or hour. Please know that I will be here for you.

Dear Deloris and family, I was saddened to hear of Jeff's passing. We were both members of the same class in High School and he was always a very nice person. I remember how tickled I was, not that long ago, to learn that you (my cousin) and he were married. My heart goes out to you. May God grant you peace that surpasses all understanding. Love you.
