R.I.P. Coach thanks for your help at Wright Tech

I remember Jeff as an awesome Basketball player for Rippowam High back in the day!! May he rest in peace

My deepest condolences to the entire O'Connell family as well as Daria. I knew Jeff for over forty years and you couldn't walk away after a conversation without feeling energized by his positive energy, words of wisdom and outlook on life. RIP my old friend.

General Jeff. I remember when he was a camp counselor at the Italian Center the summers of 75 to 77. He was tough lol but beloved for sure but a Stamford treasure. Rest in Peace and my condolences to his family.

To the O'Connell family,I am so sorry to read about Coach O'Connell he was a great guy and to talk to about sports at Wright Tech may he rest in peace.

My deepest sympathy to the entire O'Connell family on the passing of Jeff....No one put more enthusiasm and passion into any endeavor he took part in....An outstanding teacher, coach and athlete whose competitive spirit carried over to his students and players. May he rest in peace.

Jeff was a tremendous athlete but an even better person. There was no obstacle he couldn't conquer. Full of energy and wisdom, he was definitely one of the very best personable humans on the face of the earth. You will be sorely be missed old friend. Rest in peace brother!

Fond memories of Coach Jeff: summer league RHS hoops at Scalzi; working at IC summer camp; and my Drivers Ed teacher . RIP Coach.
